FAQ: What is an in-office Cap sur Vous® session like?
A: We start with a simple, friendly discussion. I ask you a few questions to better understand your situation and your expectations. My goal is to understand what you are going through, without judgment, and to create a space where you can express yourself freely.
A: Allow between 90 and 120 minutes for the first session. Subsequent sessions generally last 60 minutes. This length is ideal for discussing in depth the topics that concern you while giving you time to express yourself and work on the concrete solutions that we will implement together.
A: Depending on what you are going through and the information you have given me, through the short questionnaire offered on this website (stress, anxiety, trauma, phobias, blockages, fatigue, etc.), I adapt the therapeutic and coaching tools and approaches to your situation. And then we decide together which ones we will use, taking into account your feelings.
A: Part of the session is dedicated to practicing the chosen methods. This can include relaxation exercises, visualization, breathing techniques, hypnosis, etc. All according to your needs of the moment. At the end of the session, we take stock of your feelings and define together how we will proceed.
A: No, you are under no obligation to address a subject if you do not feel ready to do so. My role is to support you at your own pace, without judgment. What you share during the session remains completely confidential. If certain emotional blockages are too sensitive, we can address them through gentle techniques such as EMDR or hypnosis, which do not necessarily require verbalizing them.
A: Each person is unique, and the results vary depending on the objective and the method used. Some people feel an improvement from the first session, while others will need several appointments to observe significant changes. In any case, my approach is focused on brief therapies, with the aim of obtaining rapid and concrete results.
A: It's rare, but it is possible that certain emotions come back. I am here to support you, even outside of the sessions if necessary. We will take the time to debrief together and adapt our work so that you can progress at your own pace.
